An avid advocate for the prevention of elder abuse, Joy established the Center for Older Adults’ caregiver support group as part of The Fourth Presbyterian Church located in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. Joy is a family caregiver for her elderly mother among other elderly family members, and is married to family law attorney, David V. Schultz. Joy resides in downtown Chicago.
Joy enjoys exploring her Italian heritage with yearly family visits to Lucca, Italy as well as studying the Italian language, arts, music, and cooking.
